The CFE Whirlyball Tournament for Teachers is back for it’s 3rd year! Below is all the information/motivation needed to prepare you for an evening of friendly competition and fun!
Who:
This event has a place for everyone!
What:
Enjoy the Open Bar (from 7-10pm) and Light Appetizers while competing or cheering on your favorite Whirlyball team!
What is Whirlyball? The “sport” combines basketball, lacrosse, and bumper cars. Players drive bumper cars while using handheld scoops to pass a whiffle ball - ultimately into a basket to score. Teams field five players at a time and the venue will have referees to officiate. For more info, visit www.WhirlyBall.com.

Why:
To support the Chicago Foundation for Education (CFE)! CFE supports exemplary Chicago Public School teachers with leadership, learning, and grant opportunities that translate into enhanced classroom experiences.
CFE currently offers five grant-based programs and an annual Teachers as Leaders and Learners Workshop.
During the past year alone, CFE worked with 1,022 teachers across 299 schools to impact 41,805 students.
